Our full range of patio paving is suitable for outdoor use all year round, but our Granite & Porcelain Paving offer some extra grip underfoot for some added safety and peace of mind. These slip-resistant options are often used around water features and pools, in commercial projects and anywhere else where safety might be a concern and are also very popular for regular use in any patio or garden!

Anti Slip Paving Slabs

All of our paving features a level of natural slip resistance and, as long as the paving is maintained, the stone will retain its grip underfoot, but for extra peace of mind, we have some options which are designed specifically with grip in mind!

Non-Slip Porcelain Paving

Our Non-Slip Porcelain range has a slip resistance rating of R11, making it suitable for any area which can occasionally become wet, such as patios, pathways and driveways! As a non-porous stone, outdoor porcelain tiles will not allow any moisture to penetrate the surface which will help to prevent the growth of any moss, algae or mould, saving you time and money on the maintenance of your paving!

Flamed Granite Paving

A lightly-flamed surface texture adds a slightly rough finish to the stone, making it a very popular choice for exterior use where slip resistance is important. The surface of each paver helps the stone to retain its non-slip properties underfoot, even when wet! The flamed texture is achieved by heating the surface of the slabs, causing some of the crystals within the stone to shatter, leaving the slabs with a textured surface, ideal for exterior paving.

Shot Blasted Granite Paving

Shot blasting is a technique used to produce a slightly rough texture to the surface of the stone. Each slab is peppered with shots of small steel beads at high velocity and removes a fine layer from the surface of the stone in the process. The shot blasting process adds an even degree of texturing to the surface of the slabs and adds extra grip underfoot.
